Grand Canyon ll
I am finally getting around to posting pictures of this beauty. It was for my dad, and as it goes with family, there was some emotion tied in that I had to work thru before posting. I did this about a month and 1/2 ago. My biggest and most complicated, as far as piecing, so far. I really love stretching applique over this size and I’m already thinking about what the next will be.
Dimensions: 4′ wide x 3′ tall
Stretched over canvas, so not so much like a wall quilt.

I love the image myself, and have always wanted to appliqué of one. I recently ended up with an extra set of wings and figured it was the perfect opportunity to finally do that.

Long’s Peak Wall Hanging
This is by far the most intense wall hanging I have done. It was like a puzzle, lol. It is the matching wall hanging to the Long’s Peak sling for Jenn at Piece of Cloth. It turned out pretty incredible, in my opinion.
I loved doing the elk.
